What Can I Expect from the Procedure?

During your consultation, we will examine the current condition of your skin, your medical history, and your desired aesthetic goals. We will use this information to determine which type of dermal filler will best meet your needs and mark the areas of your face where the injections will be placed.

This mapping process will ensure precise placement and will let you know what to expect during your procedure.

When you come in for your procedure, we will begin by cleansing the treatment areas. To maximize your comfort, we will then either inject or apply an anesthetic to numb the injection sites.

The injections themselves only take a matter of minutes. We will inject the filler, massage the area, and inject additional filler as needed. The entire process can take as little as 15 minutes but will depend on your particular treatment areas.

You will be able to see immediate changes following your procedure, but your optimal results will develop over time. Depending on the type of injectable used, you can expect your results to last anywhere from 6 to 12 months.

What Other Types of Injectables Are There?
